The image above was created in GroBoto 3D. Different color gradients and textures were applied to the shapes.
The image on the left uses one color gradient but is changed by altering the shape and spacing of the bot elements.
The image on the right is a fusion of GroBoto 3D elements in Photoshop. After creating the base pieces in GroBoto 3D they were imported into Photoshop. The elements were warped to tweak their shapes, colored with gradient overlays and then placed into a photo of the background. The background had a texture added to give it a more earthy appearance.
In this image the foreground objects were created in Bryce. The background was done in Photoshop. The Bryce objects were then brought in and had layer effects applied to them.
The Lime Sky was created in Bryce. For the eyes I used photos of irises, warped them to emulate perspective and added the white around them. I then added an edge and glint for the clear cornea over them. The plants were originally line drawings of fungus micrographs.
The pattern above was created in Illustrator. It was then taken into Photoshop and colored with filters and layer effects.
This pattern used blends created in Illustrator. It was then taken into Photoshop and layered using various blend modes.
GALLERY 2 - 3D & ABSTRACT
Flying Jellys was created in Bryce. The surface of the water and the large jelly were then opened in Photoshop. Then I added eyes and teeth. I extracted a copy of the large one, altered it and reduced it to make a second jelly behind the first.
