Unlike some other designers I have spent my entire working career in the printing industry, mainly in Prepress services. Recently I have expanded my skills to include computer graphics, primarily using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator with some GroBoto 3D and Bryce.

I used an actual photo of an octopus. Augmenting the eye and enhancing the color and texture of the skin. I also adjusted the size and position of the tentacles. I drew the arm using the pen tool in Photoshop. Various textures and gradients were applied and manipulated to achieve a 3D look.
